The Cluster A&V team of ISISE-FP was pleased to participate in the International Inter-Noise Congress, which took place in Nantes, France, at the end of August. Professor Luรญs Godinho and Laura Sousa represented our team at the event. ISISE Day Out 2024 Highlights! ๐
On July 11th, over 200 participants gathered at the University of Guimarรฃes for a vibrant and engaging ISISE Day Out. The morning was filled with social activities, including a scenic hike and a Peddy-paper challenge along Vizela's boardwalk. Twenty teams worked together, fostering teamwork and camaraderie.
The afternoon featured a workshop with presentations by PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from each ISISE group. We were honored to have Cristiano Premebida from the Institute of Systems and Robotics (University of Coimbra) deliver a keynote on Machine Learning in Intelligent Vehicles/Transportation Systems.
The day concluded with the ISISE awards for best presentations. Congratulations to Sinem Tola (PhD candidate) and David Andrade (Post-Doc) for their well-deserved wins!
This event was a fantastic platform for academic exchange and strengthened our community bonds. We look forward to the next ISISE Day Out and thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation!
